Gasket Shellac is a hard setting, slow drying liquid for gaskets repairing and sealing. It can seal the metal gasket and threaded connections for light duty service. It is suitable also for felt, paper, rubber and composition type gaskets applications. It remains flexible when dry, and exhibits good fuel resistance. An original gasket maker formulated for heavy duty applications. It forms reliable “formed-in-place” gaskets that resist cracking, shrinking and migration caused by thermal cycling. Ideal to replace almost any cut gasket and can be used to coat pre-cut gaskets to increase reliability. It is permanently flexible and stable at temperature of between -80 °F to 625 °F (-62 °C to 330 °C). It is also highly resistant to automotive fluids.
